Here are some questions that I am often asked. If you have a query of your own, then please don’t hesitate to call, or send me an email.
1. Will I be required to attend settlement?
No. We will organise settlement, and we engage an agent to attend on our behalf.
2. Do you charge for consultations?
Consultations are included in our conveyancing fees. However, we will charge a consultation fee if we appraise a Contract for you , and you subsequently decide that you do not wish to proceed with your purchase, or you are the losing bidder at an Auction for that property.
3. What happens after I make an offer on a property and it is accepted ?
If you make an offer on a property and it is accepted, then the real estate agent will ask you for your solicitor details. The agent will then pass these details on to the solicitor for the Seller, who will then forward the Contract to your solicitor or conveyancer.
.
4. Is it mandatory to engage a solicitor if I decide to buy or sell property?
No, you are not legally obliged to engage a solicitor or licensed conveyancer.
